Luke's Weekend Beers...

While shopping at Uncle Dans last week i decided to add to my shopping cart a few bottles of what i couldn't find while in the united kingdom.  Nice traditional "cask" ales...

It is amazing who you meet at a petrol station in another town...

And then there was Christmas...

Another Christmas survived.  Didn't seem that hard this time.  Wonder why Josh?  ;-)

Catching up with the Boys...

Always time for a point at Moloys :)

Eungella for a drive...

I could think of worse places to have lunch...

BBQ In Mackay...

It is always good to catch up with people you haven't seen in a while.  Unfortunately not everyone could make it ... even if the only lived a few houses down the road :-)

Did we go to NSW last night?

What else could we possible fit into a thursday night?
Jason's new place, the airport, Garden City, Some other shopping centre, a tonne of donuts, the gold coast and various opportunities for a boy band album cover photo.  :-)
Enough said...

Tannum Lunch...

Less than 2 hours from Bundaberg is the Tannum Tavern with nice views and good sized meals. Unfortunately i was still hung over from the night before and could only eat half my Chicken Parmy. Caught up with Kammo and Izzy as they won't be making it to the BBQ in mackay.

Darth Vader can Teleport now?

This movie is to special effects what the matrix was to B&W tv.  I don't even care if the movie is crap, it looks sweet.

The plot "A genetic anomaly allows a young man to teleport himself anywhere. He discovers this gift has existed for centuries and finds himself in a war that has been raging for thousands of years between "Jumpers" and those who have sworn to kill them. "

Work Christmas Party...

I wasn't exactly fitting in at the "Family Fun Day" so i went down to the beach and took some "arty" photos...

Lauren's Birthday Party...

Who needs an excuse to get together for a party? I don't... Happy Birthday Lauren!

Movember Party...

Well it is all over. I have not seen that many Mo's since the Merv Hughs tribute night (and that was a lot of Mo's). Thanks to Trish & Leeanne for organising a great night and definitely a month i am not going to forget in a while. :-)

The Mo does Buzzeth...

Well i think that this is as good as the mow is going to get. I am over the whole experiment. The Mo however will not be shaven off in one foul swoop but more of a dismantling.

Typical Brisbane Friday Drinkies...

Who really needs an excuse for a drink on a friday afternoon, but seeing i was having a 4 day weekend Erin and I planned the even at her place.  Good times had by all...

Brisbane RAW...

Not as good as last year but lets face it, it's Wrestling and Wrestling is cool.  :-)  Not as many names as last year but when you start the night with a 15 man royal rumble for the "Brisbane Cup" can you really go wrong?

Rugby is Love...

Well rugby training is back too.  First run around the paddock on friday and my legs are still sore.  My ribs are sore and i don't remember using them at all.  It is punishment for a very relaxing off season but if i'm ever going to last 80min again i had better run my lazy arse around the block a few times.  Bring it on...

Back to work...

Yes i know all good things must come to an end.  I start back at Bundaberg Brewed Drinks tomorrow morning at 8am sharp.  Some people are asking me "how are you going to get up that early?" and "how are you going to last the day?".  I'm tough people, deal with it!  :-)

Europe 2007 DVD - Beta 1

After an agonising 5 hours that i will never get back I have one version of the Europe Photos DVD completed.  Still figuring out all the options in iLife '08 but i god attempt none the less.  Even found out how to put in Easter Eggs.  Great for all those "iffy" photos from contiki that you weren't sure that everyone should see.  :-)  99.9% complete and i'm sure the final 0.1% will take a couple of weeks at least.  ETA on the Europe Movie DVD?  Maybe by this christmas release....

How many Photos?

Not as many as i thought but more then some small countries...  I've taken the day to start sorting through all the digital photos i have ever taken with my three (actually i think it is 4) digital video cameras over the past 5 years.  There are some shockers.  It seams that most of you understand the "self portrait" technique but i don't think that i really blossomed with it until 2005.  I don't know how many dvd's i am going to have to use to store all of these once they have been sorted but i can't wait until they bring out a 300 gig DVD.

ROCKtober

Last weekend saw a unique event that i was grateful to be invited to "Rocktober".  Pretty much my brother has about 6 mates who have birthdays around the same time so they hire out a couple of penthouses in Brisbane city and they have a great huge party.  Theme of the night was formal so it was a chance to suit up once again and everyone looked pretty smart (even Troy in his Kermit suit).  So thanks to Doibs, Franger, Troy, Cara, Megan & Fast Ben for a great time and i hope there aren't too many incriminating photos on facebook.  Laters...

New Movies

Alright guys i have found two top flicks coming out soon.

The Southland Tales - Now if you can just get past the fact that this movie stars The Rock and Sean William Scott this looks like a pretty good movie. For the full review see the link.

The Nines - Looks like a cross between the matrix and that movie with John Cusack where he plays a personality in someones mind. Got to love a movie with Ryan Reynolds, Plus this is from the writer of Go and Big Fish.
